  1. Way too many things. Safety products, some kitchen appliances, software on my PC, some apps on my phone.

  2. Bananas. Every year, I like to spend roughly $80 on bananas to see how quickly they turn black.

  3. Two cutting boards. I bought them for a project that needed HDPE plastic and went a different way. Now I have two large 1″ thick cutting boards.

  4. the book, history of rome for babies, got it for my twin newborns, but now i use the advance history of rome volume 1 for them

  5. Multiple journals, (got REALLY into journaling for a while, bought a few years worth of journals, stopped journaling after a few months) and one of those neck fan things, though I bought it last fall… I might use it this summer, we’ll see.

  6. I own a portable gas stove for camping but I always wind up just cooking over the fire

  7. A major publishing company started sending me advance copies of books on finance and management, completely unsolicited, because a notable policy expert on these things has the same IRL name as myself and lives in the same area.

I never read any of them and eventually convinced the publisher I was not the “Thadis Jones” they were looking for.
